Kit De Waal


Kit De Waal (b 1962) writer. I was drawn to her book ‘My Name is Leon’ for a number of reasons including she was brought up around the same time as me and not far from where I grew up in Birmingham, she champions working class writers and is involved with cared for children. Her writing has received many awards.
